How to Install eog software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

eog software package provides Eye of GNOME graphics viewer program, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install eog

eog is installed in your system.

Make ensure the eog package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eog *

You will get with eog package name, version, architecture and description in a table
